Elring gives prizes to winners of European Cup tipping game

29.07.2014

On the occasion of the 2012 European Cup, Elring introduced its first international betting game for its customers. With nearly 1,000 participants, this was a complete success. Now the main prizes – a quad bike, a home entertainment system and an iPad – have been handed over in person.

From a total of almost 1,000 players, it wasn't only the top three who enjoyed great prizes, as originally planned. Due to the huge number of participants, the company recently decided to send consolation prizes to all players who reached places 4 to 24. This was a lovely surprise for the players, as demonstrated by the numerous messages sent to the company.

Customers of Elring's spare parts division took part in the competition, in which they not only bet on the results of individual matches , but also had to demonstrate their knowledge of the company. The betting game could be played via the Elring website and was available in four languages: English, German, Polish and Italian, so that customers from all over the world, including  Moldova, South Africa and Australia, for example, took part. The prizes were awarded in August to the three top betting specialists, much to their obvious delight. Winner Theodoros Apostolopoulos from Cologne was overjoyed with his prize of a quad bike, while Daniel van Kessel from Gronau, who came second, is going to be enjoying his new home entertainment system in future. Third place went to Micha? Mieczkowski from Gdynia in Poland, who will now be able to immerse himself in the world of multimedia with his new iPad.

Some betters have already expressed the wish for a betting game for the next Football World Cup in Brazil in 2014. Both the company and the participants are already greatly looking forward to this opportunity.
